Google Street View

While many argue about the legal concerns with Google Street View and the inevitable path it is leading to Big Brother, I tend to look at the potential humor that arises from daily lives caught on camera. Most of the StreetView captures happen by chance, however, some towns went as far as planning sequenced events to be forever immortalized on the internet. Here are a few of my favorite StreetView captures: (after looking up some bookmarks, it was disheartening to find out that Google sends out their Street View van to replace images of people doing stupid shit)

Lil Gordon

Since the dawn of Youtube, many have attempted to become the next Spielberg and uploaded their home made masterpieces. Unfortunately (or fortunately for Stevie), many have fallen short. One particular genre that has taken off with Youtube is comedy, especially shorts. A quick search on Youtube will bring up thousands of videos. Of them, Lil Gordon is pure gold. If you don’t know Gordon Ramsey or haven’t seen any of his shows, these will have no humor. However, if you have ever seen Gordon in action, you have seen that he is one of a few men on this Earth that can rival Kevin Garnett in swears-per-minute.  I’ve never been a huge fan of the guy or his shows but this kid does a spot-on impression.

(for those who don’t know who Gordon is, check out this video first: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MB8dGQ77Zg0)

Animals that Wear Costumes

If there is one thing that can brighten any day, it’s seeing an animal in a costume. While some people get their kicks dressing up during Halloween or role playing as an Orc of Middle Earth behind Liberty High in Bethlehem, PA, I love when it animal owners go the extra step with their pets.  Here is just a taste of what you can find on the world wide web.

I don't know whether I should laugh or cower in fear.

This is one of my all time favorites. Not only is the costume hilarious, it actually looks legit. I'd love to see this in person.

Dachshunds usually have one costume... a hot dog. I like owners that change up the routine a little. A lobster? Not bad.

Creative. I wouldn't be surprised if the owners used the same bed sheet as the costume for their kid.
